What is BetterChoices?
BetterChoices is about change. Change is easy. It’s the CHOICE to change that makes us uncomfortable. At BetterChoices, we help you understand the “how” & “why” the “what” you already know makes sense. This is what we call understanding. When you understand something, you can control it. When you can control it, you can conquer it. When you can conquer it, you WIN! It’s this understanding that makes the choice to change easier.
Is BetterChoices a weight loss program?
BetterChoices is NOT a diet. It’s not a quick fix. It’s a LIFEstyle change. It’s about identifying the bad habits we have formed over the years and correcting them one by one. This is what we call tipping points. Tipping points, by definition, are when small things make a big difference. We help you identify your tipping points. It is your CHOICE to change them.
I can’t believe Eric weighed 400lbs and Maleka weighed 278lbs!! How?
That’s easy! One bite at a time…and we remember MOST of them! LOL!
It is true. We didn’t just wake up one morning and BAM!…we’re 400lbs & close to 300lbs! That’s NOT the way it works. Truth is, we became two very obese individuals by eating one bite at a time. Believe us, it was A LOT of bites but still, one at a time. We realized in order to change our life & weight, it would REQUIRE us to make betterchoices…better life choices, food choices, activity choices, water choices, fiber choices, cooking choices…and the list goes one. We also knew we would not commit ourselves to a “menu program”…we loved to eat & dammit we wanted to eat!
