Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients: Makes 4-6 servings
1lb – 1 1/2lbs Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed & yellow leaves removed
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
sea salt and pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place trimmed brussels sprouts in a bowl.
Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper, making sure the sprouts are coated well.
Pour onto a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes.
Be sure to stir or shake them every 10 minutes to make sure they roast (brown) evenly. Outer leaves will be brown & crispy.
