We’ve all intended to do something. That word alone, intention, speaks volumes about our commitment to follow though. The truth is, the moment we acknowledge our intention, is the moment we are aware that what we INTENDED TO DO, did not get done. We allowed something to get in the way.
Here’s a question for you: can a best intention truly be a BEST intention?
When we give our BEST, there is a choice & action that produces a result of our “best.” An intention will always remain what it is, nothing but a thought to do something. An intention will never produce an outcome. It may keep the thought in the forefront of your mind but it will always be overrun by circumstances & excuses. Always.
In order to get a different outcome, you must employ a different process. A different process can only begin with a different choice – a BetterChoice.
When you commit to making a BetterChoice, you change your process from probable to certain. You empower yourself to go beyond your “best intention” to activating your “best efforts.”
Truth is, best intentions are simply a setup to verbalize a promise you will never keep.
Today, focus on implementing action driven thoughts instead of thoughts of what you intend to do. Understand, your best intentions sound great but amount to nothing but an excuse that justifies your agreement with yourself to not follow up or through.
